POOL: Type NAK (gas tight)

The compact design of the shut-off dampers enable them to be installed in any orientation.


 

  • This shut-off damper is for ventilation systems in which areas have to be isolated with a high degree of integrity (gastight) for safety reasons under certain operating situations.
  • The maximum pressure across the closed damper blades is 5,000 Pa.
  • The maximum permissible leakage acc. to KTA 3601 or DIN 25414 is 0.01 m³/h · m² at a pressure difference of 2,000 Pa.

The shut-off dampers of the NAK type are designed to ensure the gas tightness which is required in accordance with KTA 3601 and DIN 25414 (regulations for nuclear plants) when closed - even in the event of failure of the closing energy. The compact design and robust actuator mechanisms of these shut-off dampers enable them to be installed in any orientation.
