The fire dampers are conceived in such a way that they can be used to sandwich in old existing fire damper casings or duct-elements, if fire dampers, which contain asbestos, must be reconstructed (sanified).
They are also adapted for primary installations.
The damper installation is independent of the air flow direction.
The thermal release devices with the fusible links (release temperature 72 °C) are removable from the outside and easy to revise.
All versions are additionally equipped with two more inspection ports.
Supervision by an external organisation as required by the German law is performed by FMPA, Baden-Württemberg.
In case of reconstruction work the regulations of TRGS 519 - Asbestos, Demolition, reconstruction or maintenance work - must be respected (TRGS = Technical Rules for Hazardous Substances).
