TROX offers manufacturers and operators of fume hoods the facilities to perform safety and air handling tests. The head office in Neukirchen-Vluyn provides a testing room equipped with full testing facilities in accordance with EN 14175.
All type examinations needed for certification of fume hoods in accordance with Part 3 and Part 6 can be performed here in their entirety or in part; depending on requirements.
Examples: Air handling, synthetic dust weight arrestance, VAV extractors and VAV systems.In addition, the facilities enable simulation of realistic operating conditions, such as pressure fluctuations in the exhaust duct network.
Alternatively, the measurement equipment can also be employed "on-site". In this way, operators of laboratory units can perform examinations on fume hoods that have already been installed or reconstructed.
In addition, two reverberation chambers for sound-related examinations are available in the head office that meet the specifications of EN ISO 3741 Annex D.
