At the Papenburger Meyer Werft shipyard, five cruise ships are currently being built for Celebrity Cruise Lines. TROX components and systems are being used here to create a pleasant climate for passengers and the crew.

Likewise, grilles, ceiling diffusers, jet nozzles, slot diffusers and volume flow controllers from TROX were also installed in the largest cruise ship to have ever been built in Germany, the Celebrity SOLSTICE. TROX will also be equipping the four other cruise liners with air conditioning and ventilation components.

The ship has a length of 315 metres, a width of 36.80 metres and it can reach a speed of over 24 knots. The 1426 cabins can accommodate more than 2,852 passengers. The first ship to be built at the Papenburger Meyer Werft shipyard was delivered to the American shipping company Celebrity Cruises at the end of October.
