Sustainability is one of the central issues in our company. The basis for this is not just the resource-sparing handling of raw materials and energy, but also the consideration of social and functional aspects. With its membership in DGNB, the German Sustainable Building Council, TROX documents that the aspect of sustainability is being incorporated into considerations with respect to the development of equipment and systems.

The DGNB is an independent, non-profit organisation that was founded by figures from across the construction and real estate industry. Its aim is to promote sustainable building. The focal point of its work is the definition of uniform criteria for sustainable buildings and, deriving from this, to develop a transparent certification system: the German Sustainable Building Certificate.

The organisation now has over 800 members from the building and real-estate industry including science, research and public administration sectors.

TROX is represented with products for ventilation and air-conditioning technology as well as fire protection in a range of buildings which have been awarded the Sustainable Building Certification. In many of the projects, the use of energy-saving solutions from TROX has led to a positive evaluation for the awarding of the certification.
