TROX has supplemented its LABCONTROL product range with the new TVLK volume flow controller, which has has been specially developed for the flow rate control of fume cupboards. This renders effective air handling - as a central function in the laboratory - even more flexible. The new unit will be presented for the first time at this year's ACHEMA trade fair in Frankfurt/Main in Hall 6.2, Stand C14, from 11 to 15 May 2009.

For years the LABCONTROL products from TROX have provided safe control and monitoring of fume cupboards, laboratory rooms and entire laboratory buildings. The LABCONTROL units are also used for room pressure control and complex volume flow balancing control in the pharmaceutical sector, in hospitals and clean room production plants.

TROX TVLK now offers a choice between the proven volume flow measurement by means of flow screens or venturi nozzles for measurement. As with the damming body principle, where the measuring rods can be pulled out for cleaning, the nozzles can simply be disassembled for maintenance when required. The pluggable flanges are another advantage, as installation can be carried out fast and easily without the need for welding work.

Regardless of which measurement principle is preferred, these controllers are ideally suited for even the most extreme applications.
