Mr. Udo Brinkmann (55) has been appointed to the Board of Management at TROX GmbH with effect from 02.09.2008 and has taken over Dr. Elmar Ewen's role as Chief Financial Officer for Finance, Human Recourses and Production.

Mr. Brinkmann began his professional career at TROX GmbH on 1 September 1977 as Deputy Head of Controlling directly after completing his Diploma in Business Studies at the University of Bochum.

In April 1993 he was appointed as Manager Accounting. In May 1995, after two successful years in this position, he became Manager Finance for TROX GmbH.

With 31 years of experience at TROX and his excellent knowledge on the individual characteristics of the Group worldwide, Mr. Udo Brinkmann is ideally equipped to assume this role.
