World Cup 2010 in Durban:
Good air and safety from TROX

30/01/2008

World Cup 2010 in South Africa is also casting a light on TROX. With products for ventilation, fire protection and acoustics, TROX is involved in the construction of the new “King Senzangakhona” stadium in Durban. Furthermore, TROX South Africa is currently working with the design engineers of the high-speed train “Gautrain” on the development of products for tunnel ventilation and air conditioning for train stations. TROX products are also to be used in the expansion and modernisation of the airports in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.

For TROX, South Africa is a growth market. Due to the worldwide energy scarcity and the ongoing climate debate, the demand for energy-efficient solutions in the area of heating, air-conditioning and ventilation technology is on the rise here. With innovative air-water systems and against the background of ongoing projects as references, TROX considers itself to be well positioned in the South African market.
